Cambridge University Botanic Garden (CUBG) holds a collection of over 8,000 plant species from all over the world to facilitate teaching and research.

The glasshouses at the Botanic Garden contain a range of environments and ferns are represented in all of them. The tropical houses are particularly rich in ferns, displayed in naturalistic settings. There is also a dedicated cool fern house with filmy ferns and many other unusual species, in addition to hardy ferns in outdoor beds.

The gardens and glasshouses are open daily.
